We have another monster Saturday on tap as the college basketball regular season winds down. We only have one more of these after today before the conference tournaments kick-off. We have 35 games split up nicely between three slates and I'll be with you through the whole thing. I'm your college basketball DFS spirit guide. We also have a dozen games on the afternoon slate. There are a lot of great ones in here. This is my favorite of the three slates!
The afternoon starts with Mississippi State in Auburn. Iowa State heads to Orlando for some sun and Knights. It's the battle of Carolina in Chapel Hill with the Pack in town. USC heads up to Seattle to take on the Huskies. Iowa is in Evanston to take on Northwestern. Wake is in Blacksburg to face the Hokies. A&M heads to Athens. Texas Tech is in Morgantown. Pitt climbs Chestnut Hill to face the Eagles. Virginia gets the Crazies in Cameron. K-State heads to Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats. We close this out in Pullman with UCLA in town.
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 3/2/24, starting at 4 p.m. EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Isaiah Collier, USC ($8K)
Only a notoriously tough UCLA defense has held Collier under 30 DraftKings points since his return to the lineup on February 7. In those six games, Collier is averaging 18.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 2.5 steals. Those are huge numbers and are better than anyone else in the top tier of guards in that span. A cake matchup with Washington is just gravy.

RaeQuan Battle, West Virginia ($7K)
Battle had a tough game against Iowa State, but everyone does against that defense. Aside from that, he has scored at least 20 points in four of the last five. The shot volume has been there in every game during that stretch. The Mountaineers are feeding Battle and he hits a good percentage of his shots...unless he's playing Iowa State. Tech is a good team, but I'll trust the guy running hot and the team feeding him. Those shots aren't going anywhere else. Battle will have every chance to put up another big scoring total.
Noah Thomasson, Georgia ($6.1K)
Georgia has a bunch of good, young guards. Thomasson has taken his game to the next level lately. He has scored at least 16 points in four straight games. Thomasson is averaging 19.3 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 1.0 steals in that span. Thomasson is a bit of a risk since he is almost exclusively a scorer, but he has scored in double figures in seven of the last eight games. He feels safe with a decent upside.
Blue Cain, Georgia ($4.3K)
The freshman made his first start of the season on Tuesday and put up 17 DraftKings points in 21 minutes. That's not bad for someone priced in this range. Georgia's guard rotation is one of the deepest in the country. Cain didn't do anything to solidify himself in the pecking order, but he didn't do anything to hurt his standing either. If he starts again, I'm all over him at this price.
Also consider: RJ Davis, North Carolina ($8.9K); Boo Buie, Northwestern ($8.5K); Darius Johnson, Central Florida ($7.6K); Josh Hubbard, Mississippi State ($7.1K); Mason Madsen, Boston College ($6.6K); Kevin Miller, Wake Forest ($6.3K); Curtis Jones, Iowa State ($6K); Elliot Cadeau, North Carolina ($5.6K); K.D. Johnson, Auburn ($4.7K); Dai Dai Ames, Kansas State ($4.1K); Demarion Watson, Iowa State ($3.6K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($8.8K)
Bacot's double-double streak came to an end this week against Miami because he only took four shots (and made one of his six free throw attempts). This game showed Bacot's floor. It wasn't a big deal when he was priced around $7K. It's a much bigger deal now. I expect the Tar Heels to prove a point by getting him involved early against the Pack. He should bounce back here.
Kyle Filipowski, Duke ($7.9K)
The injury suffered during the court-storming by Wake was much ado about nothing. Filipowski looked fine against Louisville in his 30 minutes of court time. This price feels low for the talent level of Filipowski. I understand that Virginia is a tough team, but they have been roadkill this year. Filipowski has a slate-breaking upside at a salary that won't break the bank.
David N'Guessan, Kansas State ($6.1K)
Just like last year, N'Guessan is a strong defender and capable rebounder. N'Guessan has been a capable scorer as well. He has scored above his season average of 7.7 points per game in five straight games now. N'Guessan is averaging 10.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 0.6 steals in that span. I'll take that from a value play.
Mylyjael Poteat, Virginia Tech ($5K)
Poteat's minutes are still a little sporadic for my liking, but the production is there. He is averaging 11.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 0.5 assists, and 0.3 steals in 18.5 minutes per game over the last four outings. The Hokies need that kind of bench scoring, so I would expect Poteat's minutes to remain in that area. He's far more accomplished on offense than Robbie Beran is.
Also consider: Johni Broome, Auburn ($9.1K); Payton Sandfort, Iowa ($8.7K); Tolu Smith, Mississippi State ($7.8K); Mohamed Diarra, North Carolina State ($6.9K); Russel Tchewa, Georgia ($6K); Aziz Bandaogo, Cincinnati ($5.9K); Braxton Meah, Washington ($5.7K); Zack Austin, Pittsburgh ($5.4K); Joshua Morgan, USC ($4.7K); Vincent Iwuchukwu, USC ($4.2K)
