BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 25% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Cavan Biggio has amassed 230 plate appearances thus far in his rookie season, or roughly a third of a full campaign. At his current pace, given a full season's worth of playing time, he would put up a 25 HR/25 SB season and score more than 100 runs. Yet he remains widely available in Yahoo leagues. What gives?
Well, the .217 batting average understandably spoils the mood a bit. The good news is that Statcast believes Biggio can do better in that area moving forward. Based on his batted ball data, he "should" be hitting .240. Still not great, but much more palatable than his actual mark. Biggio hits the ball hard, can run, and doesn't swing and miss all that much, so the idea that he's been a bit unfortunate does track. He may be the least well-regarded of the Blue Jays' second-generation trio, but the 24-year-old can still help plenty of fantasy teams.
