Analysis: The Vikings lost Bridgewater, got desperate, snagged Sam Bradford, and suddenly Carson Wentz found himself off to a promising start to his NFL career. The New York Giants and the Washington Redskins last year allowed the 3rd and 10th most Fantasy Points to Quarterbacks on defense. The Dallas Cowboys are a much improved defense, but in 2015 they allowed the 6th most receiving yards to opposing RB at 836. Remember that one of Wentz's weapons is Darren Sproles, who as a RB has averaged 514 receiving yards and 3.5 receiving TD per season since 2008. Wentz threw for 278 yards, two TD, and zero INT. It is the weapons around him that make him an intriguing play. Last year Jordan Matthews, Zach Ertz, Brent Celek, and Sproles combined for 2,636 yards receiving which made up 61% of the teams total. Nelson Agholor didn't do much as a rookie, but finally got some QB attention this week with five targets, four receptions, 57 yards, and a 35-yard TD. For Dorial Grenn-Beckham; he had a seven game stretch last season where he averaged seven targets and 64 yards per game, including two games of 113 and 119, and that was in the Titan's offense. Wentz probably won't have a super consistent rookie season, those are rare no matter what. However with the weak defense in the NFC East, the fact that his job is secure, and the weapons he has in support, Carson Wentz will have some big games in 2016.
