ANALYSIS: Two players are averaging at least 11.5 PPG, 4.5 RPG, and 4.5 APG while turning the ball over fewer than two times per game. Those are, of course, Jimmy Butler and Caris LeVert. The Cavaliers are using LeVert in all possible ways they can. He's become the safety net and the joker on the roster, making up for whatever maladies happen to hit the team.

Go Premium, Win More!LeVert has started games at the 1, the 2, and the 3 positions this season from Oct. 19 to Nov. 16 and he's now part of the second unit of the Cavs. Not that it's mattered that much as he keeps doing a little bit of everything (albeit on a smaller shooting volume and struggling at hitting buckets of late).
LeVert missed a few days at the end of November but he returned before the month was over appearing in three more through Friday and already into December. He dumped 22 points on Philly on Nov. 30 but we are still waiting for LeVert to escape his shooting slump over a larger period of time.
That's because shot below 23% from the field in four games prior to that explosion and struggled again last Friday going 2-of-7 (28.6%) from the floor.
Outside of his shooting, though, LeVert has kept everything else up with averages of 4.5+ RPG and 4.5+ APG over the full season (if you're worried, he's still averaging a healthy 4.3 RPG and 3.4 APG coming off the pine) to go with nearly 0.8 SPG. Not a lot of fouling nor turnovers boost his upside.
