In 2015 A.J. Pollock was drafted after players like Jayson Werth, and he vastly outperformed them. The two-hole hitter for the Diamondbacks batted .315 with 20 long balls, 76 RBI, and 39 steals. He has improved every season so far and looks to do the same in 2016. This year Pollock is projected to be the leadoff man for Arizona, so this may hurt his RBI numbers. However he will still hit for average, and swipe bags. He won't hurt you with strikeouts, as he only tallied a 13.2% strikeout rate, which was good for ninth among qualified outfielders. You likely won't get him at the same discount as last season, but with the potential for a 20/40 season he could be worth the investment. It will be interesting to see if the power returns, but in that ballpark and with the opposing pitching in the N.L. West it wouldn't surprise me.
