BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB4
ANALYSIS: Houston Texans running back Cam Akers was a serviceable starter for Week 5, but it was only because he scored a touchdown and both running backs ahead of him on the depth chart, Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce, missed time. Now, Mixon (ankle) is expected to play and Pierce has been removed from the injury report.

A welcome addition for CJ Stroud and Houston, who are missing Nico Collins (IR) and Robert Woods (foot). Mixon (ankle) is listed as questionable. pic.twitter.com/eFCrjspW3V

The return of the starter and primary backup means Akers will have virtually no value unless both Mixon and Pierce get injured again early in the game. The third-stringer was already limited in volume in the games he did play, rushing just 22 times and catching two total passes.
He's a fine deep-league bench stash but should be dropped in most leagues, as he's buried on the depth chart and isn't likely to rise any time soon. Mixon will maintain the starting position for the year barring anything extreme, as he's far more talented than the other backs on the roster. Bench or drop Akers.
