BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley (foot) was signed to a massive contract extension in the offseason. He has just 183 receiving yards and one touchdown as well as three carries for 29 yards and one touchdown. He's been one of the biggest busts of this season. He's WR69 in PPR.

He's been lambasted by analysts, dropped by fantasy managers, and largely completely irrelevant this season for fantasy football. He also didn't practice on Wednesday, and he may not even play this week. If he does, he could be limited by his injury. He needs all the help he can get to produce well.
He won't get that help. Backup quarterback Mason Rudolph is likely to start again in Week 8, and even with the starter, Will Levis, Ridley hasn't done much of anything this season. Tennessee's offense has been anemic, and Ridley won't have DeAndre Hopkins to draw away coverage -- he was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs.

While this will provide the opportunity for more targets, and they'll face a soft pass defense, it's an uphill battle for him to be fantasy relevant. It's arguable whether he should even be rostered at this point. Better not to take the risk for now -- let him show some consistency before you put him into your starting lineups.

The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically. Not every WR is like this, though, […]
