BALLER MOVE: Must-Start (All Leagues)
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2
ANALYSIS: While Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley had a mostly quiet Week 1 to start 2024, there were a few miscues and he was close to making several huge plays. Those plays happened in Week 2, and Titans offensive coordinator Brian Callahan's vision for his usage of Ridley was on full display.
Ridley caught four passes for 77 yards and a TD and added one carry for 10 yards and a TD. Ridley showed off his versatility and big-play ability to great success.
Through two weeks, four receivers have accounted for over half of their team's share of air yards:

🔹 Malik Nabers, Giants (57.9%)
🔹 Davante Adams, Raiders (55.2%)
🔹 George Pickens, Steelers (53.0%) pic.twitter.com/WrVNoNEVNc— Next Gen Stats (@NextGenStats) September 18, 2024
As long as QB Will Levis can maintain at least a mediocre level of play, Ridley is a great start, and can use his explosiveness to continue to create big downfield plays. Ridley might not be the most consistent fantasy starter, as managers saw in 2023, but he was very close to having a much bigger season.
#Titans HC Brian Callahan on how he’ll deploy Calvin Ridley:
“You’re looking at a very similar role that Ja’Marr [Chase] played, in terms of his ability to move around the formation, use him in motion. He’s got such a unique skill set. He’s got great quickness, he’s got great… pic.twitter.com/PEbtMCSs5d

Callahan indicated before the season that he wanted Ridley to handle a Ja'Marr Chase type role, moving him around the formation and getting him the ball however they can. That's coming to fruition, and it makes Ridley a must-start in all formats.
