BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: Calvin Ridley sat out the entire 2022 season due to a suspension for violating the NFL’s gambling policy. He returned in 2023 with a new team and picked up where he left off, delivering a 76-catch, 1,016-yard season as a Jacksonville Jaguar.
Ridley signed a fresh contract with the Tennessee Titans in the offseason, bolstering what was one of the NFL’s worst passing attacks in 2023. Last season, the Titans ranked 25th in passing yards and completed the fewest completions in the NFL.
Shying from the pass makes sense when you have future Hall of Famer Derrick Henry serving as your team’s RB1. Henry departed in the offseason, though, and Tennessee brought in a new head coach who favors the passing game.
Brian Callahan signed on in January, after serving as the offensive coordinator in Cincinnati since 2019. He will likely encourage second-year quarterback Will Levis to continue airing it out, increasing opportunities for the Titans' receivers to do damage.

Ridley will be up against DeAndre Hopkins as Tennessee’s top dog in the wide receiver room. Hopkins has been dealing with a strained knee through the preseason and is still considered questionable for Week 1. Ridley is shaping up to be a WR3 with upside in the season opener against the Chicago Bears.
