Call of Duty: New York Home Series (Best of 5)
- Paris Legion vs. Toronto Ultra (-215)
- London Royal Ravens vs. Chicago Huntsmen (-260)
- L.A. Guerillas vs. Atlanta FaZe (-345)
- Minnesota ROKKR vs. New York Subliners (-180)
COD DFS Basics
- Like in CSGO, players receive two points for a kill and are penalized -1 for dying. Therefore, the simplest stat to look at here is K/D ratio. However, players can also earn fantasy points for planting or defusing bombs (three points each) in Search and Destroy rounds, so there are some players who we can target for other skills besides their ability to kill the opponent.
- You need to roster a team slot on both sites. Teams accrue fantasy points for games won (+4), matches won (+10), and Search and Destroy rounds won (+.5).
- Teams will be playing best-of-five matches on a rotation of various game modes. Those modes and the order in which they are played is as follows: Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, Domination, Hardpoint, Search & Destroy.
- In hardpoint rounds, players with positive K/D ratios are usually the highest scorers and these rounds are often the bloodiest.
- The Domination round is a good bit different than the others as teams attempt to control flag points on the map. These rounds can be bloody, but also can be relatively low-scoring depending on how aggressive or defensive teams get in this round. Players can earn +1 for successful flag captures during this domination round.
Slate Summary
We have a four match slate here today with each of these games having a fairly close spread. That means we should have plenty of tightly contested games with a lot of solid fantasy options to choose from. The odds for the MIN/NY game slightly confuse me given the two teams records and recent play as I would normally assume that NY would be the dog and not the favorite. Anyways, let's dive in and hopefully get some green!
COD DFS Captain Considerations
Mack - Full disclosure here - I actually expect Minnesota to win this series. But I think it goes to five games. I expect New York to win both hardpoints as that is their best game mode, not to mention that's also where we get the most fantasy production fun. Unfortunately for New York, they can’t seem to find much consistency outside of hardpoint so this play does scare me a tad. But Mack has been by far the top player on this Subliners squad holding the top K/D ratio on the team and offers major upside.
Methodz - Toronto takes on Paris in a battle of two of the lower-tier teams. This Toronto team has plenty of upside all around but Methodz is the main producer. Toronto has forced a five-game series in five of their last seven series. Methodz has surpassed 100 fantasy points in all five of those, with four of those being over 110. Lock him in.
Simp/Cellium - Both of these guys are top-tier players on the best team in the league (Florida disagrees). At first look at this game, you probably think sweep. Rewind to the Minnesota series and these teams faced off and went all five games. A sweep is definitely in the back of my mind here but on FD with the game not played bonus it should not be as much of a concern. Simp is the top-priced player on FD but for good reason.
.Other captain plays: Formal, Skrapz (GPP)
COD DFS Value Plays
Scump - He is not going to blow you out of the water and drop a 150, but at $8100 on FD and $7000 on DK you don't really need that. I'm expecting a score in the range of 90-100 fantasy points and at that price that will be just fine, especially with some options that he can open up for you in the top range.
Godrx - He is priced more in the upper tier of "value" and if you game log watch you will hate this play. But in reality, this guy is a top player on the ROKKR and should return to form sooner rather than later. I know it may not feel like it, but sooner or later the 130-150 point series will come and at $8900 on FD and $8200 on DK, id want to be on him when that game happens. He’s definitely more of a GPP play.
Other value plays: Mettalz, Aqua (High risk)

COD DFS Stacks
Minnesota/New York is a series I expect to go five, though NY scares me every time they are on a slate. If this actually does go five I have no doubt it will provide some of the highest scorers on the slate. I expect NY to take the hardpoint rounds and Minnesota to take the Search and Destroy rounds.
Mack and Attach are my two favorite from this Subliners squad. While Assault and Godrx are my two favorite 0n the Minnesota side. I do not mind taking pieces from both sides of this game at all. My prediction is 3-2 in favor of Minnesota.
Chicago are in a great spot as they take on London. Chicago has screwed me more than once whether it's them sweeping or just flat out underperforming. If this series does go to five games, Formal, envoy, and Scump are all definitely viable and are my three favorite from the Chicago side.
However, on the other side of this game is the London Royal Ravens. They are my favorite true GPP play and will definitely be low owned. Skrapz and Wuskin are my two favorites from this side. I'm not saying to go and stack the Ravens, but they are my favorite GPP stack on this slate. My prediction is a 3-1 Chicago win.
Other stacks/ teams: Atlanta FaZe
