Call of Duty: Paris Legion Home Series Semifinals
Best of 5
- Atlanta vs. Dallas (-160)
- Florida (-185) vs. New York
Slate Overview
We have two really compelling matchups here today with two relatively small favorites and both matches sitting at 4.5 o/u for total rounds. s in Atlanta and Dallas. The Florida/New York might be the bigger mismatch of the two today with just how well the Mutineers are playing the last two tournaments.
Meanwhile, we have a rematch of two top teams with Atlanta being a slight underdog to Dallas despite beating them 3-2 in a thrilling series last weekend. That’s the match we are going to want to target heavily for DFS.
COD DFS Basics
- Like in CSGO, players receive two points for a kill and are penalized -1 for dying. Therefore, the simplest stat to look at here is K/D ratio. However, players can also earn fantasy points for planting or defusing bombs (three points each) in Search and Destroy rounds, so there are some players who we can target for other skills besides their ability to kill the opponent.
- You need to roster a team slot on both sites. Teams accrue fantasy points for games won (+4), matches won (+10), and Search and Destroy rounds won (+.5).
- Teams will be playing best-of-five matches on a rotation of various game modes. Those modes and the order in which they are played is as follows: Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, Domination, Hardpoint, Search & Destroy.
- In hardpoint rounds, players with positive K/D ratios are usually the highest scorers and these rounds are often the bloodiest.
- The Domination round is a good bit different than the others as teams attempt to control flag points on the map. These rounds can be bloody, but also can be relatively low-scoring depending on how aggressive or defensive teams get in this round. Players can earn +1 for successful flag captures during this domination round.
- There are NO sweep or "games not played" bonuses for teams or players that finish their match early on DraftKings, however FanDuel has added a 15 point bonus for each round not played per player.
COD DFS Captain Considerations
Simp and Ceilium are both in play here for Atlanta as the two main plays for the Faze. Both have excellent K/D ratios and went over 110 fantasy points in last week’s win against Dallas. Simp is the more consistent player but lately it’s Ceilium who has flashed a higher ceiling.
Shotzzy is the most expensive player on the slate (on DraftKings) but FanDuel really botched the pricing here and he’s only $9300 over there. I’m not sure how you don’t go 100% exposure to him today with his current form and the high likelihood of another high-scoring affair with Atlanta.
Other captain plays: Owakening
COD DFS Value Plays
Havok is priced very fairly on both sites and provides some nice cheap exposure to Florida, who I think will beat New York in their series. He’s been over 100 FD points in five straight matches and is an elite play on FD now that they have added a rounds not played bonus for winning teams.
Huke has surpassed Clayster in the past few weeks to become the second-leading scorer for Dallas. He’s only $8600 on FD and $8000 on DraftKings despite posting 110 fantasy points last time out against Atlanta.
Other value plays: Priestahh ($7400 on DraftKings), MajorManiak ($7000 on DraftKings)

COD DFS Stacks
Atlanta-Dallas is the game I’m going to grab pieces from both sides of today. Simp and Ceilium are in play here along with Priestahh, MajorManiak, and the red-hot Abezy as a third piece. FanDuel pricing will make it tough to make builds with both Simp and Ceilium but I like the idea of running one of them with 1-2 of the other Atlanta pieces. For Dallas, it’s Shottzy, Huke, and Clayster in that order.
Florida is certainly stackable here, too. Owakening has been incredible since joining the Mutineers lineup, going over 100 fantasy points in every match and flashing a 160 FD-point upside against Dallas yesterday. Skyz and Fero both went off in that game, too, while I already mentioned Havok as a solid value play.
The Florida stack can get there on FanDuel with a 3-1 win and one round not played bonus but a sweep may make them suboptimal. I want my Florida exposure on FanDuel mainly for that reason and their team slot is my favorite at the position.
