ANALYSIS: There have been moments this season when Cade Otton's production has enamored us and made us recommend him as an obvious WW target. He has consistently underperformed following those recommendations because that's what happens when you give any advice about this type of thing. Anyway, we're back at it again and will keep on doing it as long as Otton keeps giving us some hope.

Every time Otton has scored 10+ PPR points this season he's followed that with a sub-5.0 PPR stinker. It's happened two times already. He's coming off a season-game this past Sunday in which he caught five of six targets for 68 yards and his first TD of the season. So... should we assume another bump is coming?

Otton had his best games in W5, W7, and W9, all of them in the TE1 realm. Prior to that, he had a TE3 outing in W4 and he also fell that much in W6 and W8. Next week, though, the Bucs are facing the worst NFL defense against fantasy TE in Seattle.

The Seahawks have surrendered 133 PPR points to tight ends. Only the Cardinals have given up more than 85 PPR points to players at the position this year through Week 9. So there is at least a chance Otton breaks that up-and-down routine of his and finally has a couple of consecutive TE1 weeks.

Otton is a must-roster player in all leagues and a great starter for those navigating the bye weeks or looking for a replacement in case of having whiffed at drafting a proper TE. He will give you TE1-level outcomes some weeks and TE3-level games the rest of the days, but the targets are there weekly (3+ in all but one game, 5+ in all last three) so it's not that he's lacking opportunities to put up numbers.
