Buy Low, Sell High Week 12 Fantasy Trade Value Recommendations - Malik Nabers, Kyren Williams, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, more

Kyren Williams - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Welcome to Week 12 of the NFL season, where the playoff race is heating up, and every decision counts more than ever. With the fantasy postseason just around the corner, this is the time to make strategic moves that can propel your team to a championship. Injuries, bye weeks, and fluctuating player performances are testing our rosters, but savvy trades and careful management can give you the edge you need in these critical weeks.

In Week 12, we’re zeroing in on key Buy Low and Sell High targets that could make all the difference. If you’ve been holding onto a player who’s underperformed or is dealing with an injury, now could be the perfect opportunity to acquire assets poised for a late-season surge. On the flip side, if you’ve been enjoying the ride of a breakout player, it might be time to cash in and sell high before their production regresses.

With fantasy trade deadlines looming, your window for making impactful moves is closing fast. Whether you're bolstering depth, targeting a top-tier upgrade, or taking a calculated risk to secure your spot in the postseason, the right trade could be a game-changer. Let’s dive into the top Buy Low and Sell High candidates for Week 12.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for the 2025 playoffs:

Fantasy Football Buy-Low Trade Targets

WR Malik Nabers, New York Giants

It might feel risky to trade for a wide receiver playing on a team now relying on its third-string quarterback, but this is precisely when you can buy low on Malik Nabers. With Tommy Devito stepping in under center, many fantasy managers are understandably concerned about Nabers' outlook for the remainder of the season. However, this could be the perfect time to target him in a trade, as his value is at its lowest point.

Despite the quarterback change, Nabers will remain the focal point of the Giants' passing attack. His role as the primary receiver in an offense that needs to rely on short, quick passes makes him a steady option, even with DeVito as the quarterback.

His favorable schedule is one of the biggest reasons for liking Nabers down the stretch. The Giants' upcoming matchups include several plus opportunities, including games against Baltimore, Atlanta, and Indianapolis during the fantasy playoffs.

These defenses present more manageable challenges, allowing Nabers to produce solid fantasy numbers despite the QB situation. If you can acquire him at a discount now, you could reap the rewards in December.

RB Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams

Kyren Williams started the season as a touchdown machine, but over the past three games, he’s been held out of the end zone, leading to some frustration among fantasy managers. This touchdown regression makes Williams an excellent buy-low candidate, as his scoring production is bound to bounce back in the coming weeks.

Looking ahead, Williams also benefits from a favorable schedule. After a tough matchup this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, he’ll face much softer defenses in the New Orleans Saints and Buffalo Bills, both of which have struggled to stop the run.

Williams should see less defensive attention, given that the Rams’ offense is now fully healthy at its skill positions. With either Cooper Kupp or Puka Nacua drawing double teams on nearly every play,

Williams will have more opportunities to face lighter defensive boxes and exploit favorable rushing lanes. Add in the inevitable touchdown regression, and Williams has the potential to finish as a top-10 running back down the stretch. If you can acquire him now, you might be in line for a significant payoff come fantasy playoff time.

WR Calvin Ridley, Tennesse Titans

Calvin Ridley is a prime example of a player who could become a fantasy league winner for savvy managers willing to take a chance on him. Many fantasy managers wrote Ridley off after struggling through a rough midseason stretch. However, he has shown that he still has the potential to deliver massive fantasy weeks when the opportunity arises.

With DeAndre Hopkins now gone, Ridley is the clear-cut No. 1 receiver in the Tennessee Titans offense. This elevated role should translate into a steady target share, especially given the Titans' tendency to play from behind. This creates a solid floor for Ridley, as Tennessee will likely need to throw more to mount comebacks, putting Ridley in a position to rack up fantasy points.

Even more enticing is the Titans' favorable schedule for the rest of the season. They face off against Jacksonville twice, including in the fantasy championship, which provides Ridley with significant opportunities.

Aside from a tough matchup this week against the Houston Texans, the rest of Tennessee's schedule is loaded with plus matchups, including several against defenses that have struggled to stop the pass. If Ridley can capitalize on these opportunities, he could be a key piece to a fantasy playoff run, making him an intriguing buy-low option.

Fantasy Football Sell-High Trade Targets

WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has recently experienced a surge in production, including two impressive performances that have caught the attention of fantasy managers. While it can be tempting to hold onto a young, talented player coming off a hot streak, this makes Smith-Njigba a perfect candidate to sell high. Several factors suggest that his recent uptick in production may not be sustainable for the rest of the season.

The critical difference in Smith-Njigba's breakout game in Week 9 was the absence of DK Metcalf and Noah Fant, who were sidelined, allowing Smith-Njigba to step up as a primary target in the offense. However, with Metcalf now back and Fant nearing a return, it’s clear that Smith-Njigba’s role in the offense will be affected.

As Metcalf gets healthier and continues to be a focal point of the passing game, Smith-Njigba will likely see fewer opportunities, especially in a crowded receiving corps. Smith-Njigba’s fantasy value is also at risk due to a rigid schedule down the stretch.

While he does have two solid matchups remaining against the Arizona Cardinals, who have struggled defensively, his playoff schedule is daunting. In Weeks 15 through 17, Smith-Njigba will face some of the most formidable defenses in the NFC North, including Green Bay, Minnesota, and an outdoor game at Chicago in Week 17.

These defenses are known for their ability to shut down the pass, which could make it challenging for Smith-Njigba to maintain his recent production. If you can find a manager who’s excited about Smith-Njigba’s breakout games and willing to pay up for him, now is an ideal time to move him.

With his role likely to decrease and a demanding playoff schedule ahead, selling high on the rookie wide receiver could net you a valuable asset to bolster your roster for the fantasy playoffs.

TE Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints

Taysom Hill is coming off arguably the best game of his career, a performance that’s bound to have fantasy managers buzzing. With 138 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the ground, Hill delivered a fantasy explosion that made him the most significant outlier this season at the tight end position.

While his versatility is valuable, this performance is unlikely to be repeated, making Hill an ideal sell-high candidate.

The timing couldn’t be better to move Hill as he enters his bye week. For fantasy managers in win-now mode trying to position themselves for the playoffs, this is the perfect opportunity to trade him to a tight end-needy team that can afford to wait out Hill’s absence for a week. By capitalizing on his recent performance, you can potentially acquire a more reliable weekly contributor to help you make your playoff push.

One key reason to sell Hill now is that his recent game was an outlier in usage. While he recorded eight receptions for 50 yards last week, this is far from typical. Hill has not had more than four receptions in any game this season, and his role as a pass-catching option has been inconsistent.

His primary value has come from his rushing ability, particularly near the goal line, but relying on this style of play makes his production highly volatile. Given that Hill is a unique but ultimately unpredictable fantasy asset, now is a great time to trade him for a more stable option.

Moving Hill for a wide receiver or running back who can slot into your lineup every week will strengthen your roster for the rest of the season. Don’t let the recency bias of his incredible performance cloud your judgment—sell Hill while his value is at its peak.

RB Javonte Williams, Denver Broncos

Now is the ideal time to trade Javonte Williams, who is coming off a strong performance against the Atlanta Falcons. However, this recent success follows a disappointing outing against the Kansas City Chiefs, where Williams saw just three touches in the entire game.

This unpredictability makes Williams a prime candidate to sell high, especially after last week's solid showing. The biggest reason for moving Williams now is the uncertainty surrounding his role in the Denver Broncos offense. Under head coach Sean Payton, the Broncos have shown a pattern of inconsistent running back usage, making it difficult to rely on any player.

Williams received only one rushing attempt a week ago while backup Audric Estime carried the load. In the next game, the roles were reversed, with Williams taking over most of the work. There was no clear explanation for this shift in usage, highlighting the lack of predictability in Payton’s backfield rotation.

Even more concerning is that this backfield is a three-man committee, with Jaleel McLaughlin involved and stealing touches. Committees are rarely a good sign for fantasy production, as they cap the ceiling of all involved players. When three backs compete for opportunities, counting on consistent, high-level performances becomes challenging.

Given the uncertainty in the Broncos’ backfield and the rollercoaster nature of Williams’ usage, now is the time to move on from him. His value is higher than it will be for the rest of the season, so trade Williams while his recent performance is fresh in the minds of running back-needy teams.

Moving him now could help you strengthen other positions and avoid the frustration of riding the Broncos’ backfield carousel for the remainder of the year.
