What Is Bubba Wallace's Starting Position In Chicago?
Bubba Wallace was the sixth and final Toyota and yet will start the Grant Park 220 from the 14th position on Sunday. The 23XI Racing driver finished ahead of some accomplished road drivers like Kyle Busch, William Byron, and even Chase Elliott.
Wallace did seem to lose some tenths on the technical turns and that fifth turn heading on to South Columbus Drive. That was a common theme in qualifying and practice. Wallace did lose almost two seconds from his five to ten-lap interval. That could be trouble heading later into Sunday evening.
