After a solid start to the 2023 NASCAR season, Bubba Wallace has struggled mightily in recent weeks.
Over Team 23XI's last five races, Wallace has logged three finishes of 25th or worse, which included spins or crashes at both Chicago and Atlanta.
The No. 23 team driver is currently on the NASCAR Playoff bubble and sits three points outside the cutline. Wallace will need to dramatically improve his results in short order if he's to qualify for the playoffs. The 29-year-old did show some pace in qualifying at New Hampshire. Read on to see his starting position for the NASCAR Crayon 301 on Monday, July 17th, 2023.

What Is Bubba Wallace's Starting Position In New Hampshire?
Bubba Wallace turned in a few solid qualifying laps on Saturday at New Hampshire. The result was starting eighth for the Crayon 301. Again, Toyota cars showed their might early in laps. Though he was 0.224 seconds off the pole, Wallace had solid lap averages that were in the 30.4 to 30.6-second range.
If he can run that consistently, the 23XI Racing driver could stay among the leaders. The No. 23 car may even have enough late-run speed to contend. Wallace did start fourth and finish third in New Hampshire in 2022, so there is some positive recent history for the Toyota driver at "The Magic Mile".
