BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: To day Bruce Chen has quietly put together a great year, with a 2.03 ERA / 1.09 and 45 K in 57 2/3 IP. He's mostly worked as a reliever for the Royals this year, but was recently added to the rotation. Since that time he's continued to impress, putting up quality start after quality start. Over the last 30 days, Chen has put up some dazzling numbers as a starter - a 1.44 ERA / 0.60 WHIP and 21 K in 25 IP. Last night he continued to roll against a tough Red Sox lineup - giving up zero runs, only 6 baserunners in 7 2/3 IP, and picking up the win. Chen hasn't given up more than 2 ER in any start since joining the KC rotation (5 starts total) and will face a weak Marlins lineup his next time out. If you're looking for some starting pitching help for the stretch run, pickup Chen and ride the hot streak. He may just keep this up down the stretch, as he's shown no signs of slowing down.
