ANALYSIS: What is Bruce Brown, really? If you go by Yahoo's position designations, you'll find yourself a forward/center masquerading as a SG. That is not optimal in that it gives no flexibility to Brown's GMs when it comes to putting him in this or that lineup/spot, but the truth is that the Nets have been using Brown as a weirdo-biggie and that has had an impact in his season numbers.
No matter which role Brown is playing, there is something clear about his game: it is there, and it won't go away any time soon. While Brown is not starting games anymore (not at least at the pace he did earlier this season when he had a run of 21 starts out of 24 games played between Feb. 10 and Apr. 4), he's still one of the most valuable pieces Brooklyn has these days as James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Nicolas Claxton (not to mention LaMarcus Aldridge, who straight retired a few days ago) all recover from different injuries with their eyes already in the postseason.
That's why Brown is one of the best second-unit players of this squad these days, and will probably be so ROS. From April 7 on, Brown has played an average of 27 MPG while putting up an 11-9-2-2-1 in his 9 GP. That's some seriously stuffed line right there, and that's also an average performance that is yielding a 1.11 FP/min mark for the guard (?) in that span. It's been six games in a row hitting 24+ FP for Brown, who has topped 30 in four of his last seven; he's logged 10+ points and/or boards in his last four, with two dub-dubs in that span too. With the Nets already thinking in their postseason run, it makes sense for them to not risk a thing when it comes to their bonafide superstars. And if that's the case, you know who will eat big time.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 8% of leagues ANALYSIS: The surge of Deni Avdija in all fantasy leaderboards has a very easy-to-grasp reason and that's Kyle Kuzma missing time with an injury.
