BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2/RB3
ANALYSIS: Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. had a nice start to his 2024 season, showcasing his elusiveness and pass-catching chops on his way to a 17.90 PPR point finish. He nearly had another touchdown, but was stopped just short and QB Jayden Daniels vultured it.

Robinson was underrated last season, and he's showing that he's still a solid running back worthy of starting lineups. Though fellow RB Austin Ekeler was brought in this offseason, presumably to be the main pass-catching back, Robinson tied Ekeler in targets with four.
Robinson also had six times as many carries as Ekeler (12 vs. two). The primary rusher with pass-catching upside on any team is worth a start in most leagues, and that's exactly what Robinson is. He's also an excellent running back. The one concern is QB Daniels' rushing ability taking away from Robinson's work.
Despite this, he's still a solid start, and if he continues to earn targets (hint: he really should), he should be a nice RB2/flex player, especially in PPR where catches provide a great scoring floor. Robinson is worth starting in all formats, though, so don't leave him on your bench this week.

The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically. Not every WR is like this, though, […]
