BALLER MOVE: Add in 12- and 14-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 22% Fleaflicker
ANALYSIS: Brian Hoyer has had at least 14 fantasy points in eight of his 10 games this season. The two in which he didn’t, he missed at least 15 snaps due to being benched and an injury. In his most recent game, he had 293 passing yards and three touchdowns against a so-so Bills defense. He now gets a similarly average defense in that of the Patriots.
As far as QBs owned in under 25% of leagues this late in the season, it doesn’t get much better than Hoyer. He has an elite weapon in DeAndre Hopkins and nice secondary options in Cecil Shorts and Nate Washington. Those players have allowed him to put up decent points week after week. The Patriots have played some decent defense lately, holding QBs to 12 or fewer points in the last three weeks. However, Hopkins will likely not be stopped, so I’m confident that Hoyer can do better.
