BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 11% of leagues
ANALYSIS: With Yoenis Cespedes currently on the disabled list and both Jay Bruce and Michael Conforto scuffling, the Mets have gotten a much needed boost in their outfield from Brandon Nimmo. The 25-year-old is hitting .294/.450/.541 on the season, with three home runs and three stolen bases in 109 plate appearances. Nimmo has been seeing significant time in the leadoff spot of late, and even as Cespedes nears a return from his hip injury, New York should be looking for ways to keep Nimmo's bat in the lineup and in a prominent role. As long as that happens, he should continue to be a reliable source of batting average and runs, with some pop and speed to augment those contributions.
While his ownership rate has ticked sharply upward over the past 24 hours, you can still find Nimmo on the waiver wire in nearly 90 percent of leagues.
