Off season injuries continue to plague the Dallas Cowboys like a heap of festering hemorrhoids on steroids. Today’s victim was defensive back Brandon Carr, who broke a bone in his hand during press coverage - a similar injury that plagued former Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray last season.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that Carr will have surgery on Monday. Dallas head coach Jason Garrett stated that he’s it isn’t clear yet when Carr will return, which might put a glitch in his impeccable record of never missing a regular season game since breaking into the league in 2008.
If the updates that come in regarding Carr’s injury aren’t on the up and up, chances are the Cowboys will have to move forward and replace the 29-year old.
