ANALYSIS: Brandon Belt has earned N.L. Player of the Week honors, but don't expect him to slow down any time soon. The preseason breakout candidate is seeing the ball better right now than he has all season. The 2 HR and 5 RBI last week may not have turned many heads, but Belt is definitely heating up. His manager Bruce Bochy has also shown confidence in the young first baseman by slotting him into the three-hole. The "Baby Giraffe" has not suddenly turned into Barry Bonds, but hey, this could be a monumental-type waiver add. Put on your "Belts," and enjoy the ride.
