BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED: 48% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Take the time you need to read this post and enjoy it, because we will probably not be writing about Brandon Aiyuk for the rest of the season as a potential WW target. With a rostership nearing the 50%+ and given his last performance, chances are fantasy GMs will catch up with Aiyuk's game and he'll be put on most rosters by this time next week and going forward.
This is as much about Brandon Aiyuk as it is about HC Kyle Shanahan. The latter is a helluva head coach and play schemer, and you just have to catch any offensive play of the 49ers to know why. Aiyuk (and Deebo Samuel too) have widely benefited from such a creator this season.
In Week 6, on just a couple of receptions, Aiyuk scored a touchdown getting just 12 receiving yards. This past Sunday, though, Aiyuk was featured in a much heavier dose of plays and finished 6-of-7 in receptions reaching a season-high 115 yards and leading the team in all three categories (only George Kittle tied him with 7 targets). He scored the second-most PPR points of the year at 17.5 after he posted 21.1 in Week 3.
Aiyuk's 3.04 PPR points per touch rank 16th among WRs with at least 30 targets this season, and with just one TD over six games he should experience positive regression on that front soon.
While still not a true All-Leagues WW target, Aiyuk is definitely a must-add in 12+ team and deeper formats, and a weekly play at WR2 at the very least.
