Unfortunately, he has severely struggled since Week 1. Cooks has four receptions on eight targets for 35 receiving yards, zero touchdowns, and 5.2 fantasy points in the past two weeks. Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin had more fantasy points last week than Cooks has scored since opening weekend.
The Cowboys face the New York Giants tomorrow night in the first game of Week 4. New York has surrendered 26.6 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, 1.2 more than the league average. However, fantasy players should avoid starting Cooks.
CeeDee Lamb voiced his frustration after a poor performance last week. Expect Dak Prescott to feature the superstar receiver, possibly giving him 15 or more targets. While Cooks was a solid flex option in Week 1, fantasy players should leave him on the bench this week.
