BALLER MOVE: Start In 12-Team Formats
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-End WR3
ANALYSIS: Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks is coming off a disappointing effort against the Philadelphia Eagles last week. While Dallas dominated to the tune of a 33-13 victory, Cooks managed just a pair of receptions for 37 yards, ending a two-game streak of games with a touchdown for the veteran wideout.
Overall, Cooks has played well this season, finding the end zone five times and averaging 44.5 receiving yards per game. He's not playing at the level he did earlier in his career, but he remains a productive player.
This week, the Cowboys face the Buffalo Bills. This is a relatively tough matchup, as the Bills have allowed the seventh-fewest receiving yards to the wide receiver position this year. Cooks' ability to find the end zone gives him obvious upside each week, but the matchup this week also gives him a lower floor than he might usually have. He's playable as a low-end WR3, but he likely needs to find the end zone to return value in Week 15.
