BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: Look up "post-hype sleeper" in the dictionary and you'll find Peacock. He was a highly touted prospect in the Nats' farm system, but he struggled in his first few stints in the majors. In Triple-A this year though, he's been dominant, throwing 79 IP with a 72/22 K/BB ratio, 2.73 ERA and 1.10 WHIP. It was slightly surprising how nasty he looked in his call-up, as he mowed down 10 Twins hitters and only allowed 6 baserunners in 7 IP. If not for a couple mistakes to Morneau and Arcia, Peacock woulda been nails. He's worth owning in deep leagues for his upside.
