Another week, another missed opportunity to take a victory lap. My Week 10 bold predictions were all duds. Jeremiah Smith only had 55 yards in the nail-biting Ohio State win, Arkansas got throttled 63-31, and Tennessee only scored 28 points in a game that was too close for comfort.
That’s why we call them bold predictions. Week 11 is yet another juicy slate with two SEC games headlining. Both of those games will be covered in this week’s bold prediction segment.
Let’s dig in.

LSU Hands Tide Third Loss
Alabama-LSU is an elimination game this weekend with both SEC squads sitting at two losses on the season. The Crimson Tide are favored on the road coming off LSU’s crumble against Texas A&M, but the Tigers are rested with an extra week to prepare. Don't forget what happened in the 2022 edition of this game...

Give me a bounce-back game from Garrett Nussmeier in Baton Rouge, and a dagger in Alabama’s national title aspirations.
Texas Tech Stifles Colorado's Momentum
The Buffaloes had a huge bye week with both Iowa State and Kansas State losing, opening the door for a shot at the Big 12 title game. With an extra week to prepare, Deion Sanders’ team should be ready.
On the other side of the field, Texas Tech has been a consistent thorn in the side of opponents this year. The Red Raiders are coming off their biggest win of the season, beating previously unbeaten Iowa State on the road.
The team has been up and down, but I predict that it rides the momentum from last week’s big win to another win this week over a Colorado team needing to win out.
Georgia Makes A Statement
This season has been short of dominant for the former back-to-back national champs. Georgia’s resume includes a one-point win over Kentucky, a beatdown-turned-near-comeback against Alabama, and too-close-for-comfort wins over Mississippi State and Florida.
The road win in Texas a few weeks ago was one of the most impressive wins we’ve seen this season and the Week 1 beatdown of Clemson was a strong win, but Georgia has not completely dominated every opponent it has faced.

Heading into Oxford this weekend, I’m picking Georgia to overcome the hostile environment and win convincingly. A statement win here likely knocks Ole Miss out of the playoff picture and secures Georgia’s spot in the postseason.
