Week 9’s bold predictions were, let’s face it, a little too bold. Syracuse most definitely did not hand Pitt its first loss, Michigan State was close but did not upset Michigan, and UCF was nowhere near toppling the still-perfect BYU Cougars.
Week 10’s slate has upset week written all over it. There are a plethora of juicy matchups, with the juiciest by far being the noon kickoff in Happy Valley between third-ranked Penn State and fourth-ranked Ohio State.
Let’s dig into bold predictions for Week 10’s college football slate.

Jeremiah Smith Records First Career 150+ Yard Game
All eyes will be on Ohio State-Penn State at noon on Saturday in a game that holds massive Big Ten title game and playoff implications. Both teams are dealing with key injuries -- quarterback Drew Allar is a game-time decision for Penn State, while backup left tackle Zen Michalski is banged up for Ohio State, leading to further offensive line shuffling.

Freshman Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith has shown up in big ways when needed this season. He has scored at least one touchdown in every single game this year, and that streak should continue on Saturday.
I’m taking Smith to record his first 150+ yard game. With the offensive line banged up and the run game unable to get going over the past few weeks, Ohio State will need to lean on Smith now more than ever.
Arkansas Over Ole Miss
Expected to be an SEC bottomfeeder coming into the season, Arkansas already notched one ranked win when it defeated then-fourth-ranked Tennessee at home. I like the Hogs to take advantage of a sleepwalking Ole Miss team this Saturday.
Lane Kiffin’s Rebels have fallen short of expectations thus far, suffering a home loss to Kentucky along with an overtime loss to LSU. They struggled with a badly beaten-up Oklahoma team last week, and now have to travel on the road to take on a pesky Arkansas team. Ole Miss cannot afford to overlook this team and end up with a third loss, but I fear the worst here.
Tennessee Offense Hums For 40+
The Volunteers opened the season as one of the hottest offenses in the nation, averaging 63.6 points per game through their first three games. They have not topped 25 points since.
Tennessee is now favored by 16.5 points against Kentucky, according to multiple sportsbooks.

Now ranked seventh in the nation, Tennessee is coming off a bye week to take on a falling Kentucky team. This is a perfect situation for the Vols to get the offense rolling again. Give me Nico Iamaleava and Dylan Sampson to turn this team up a level and drop 40+ on Kentucky on Saturday night.
