Bold Predictions for Fantasy Football Week 4: Kyler Murray, Aaron Jones, Chuba Hubbard, Marvin Harrison Jr., Dalton Kincaid

Aaron Jones - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Mike Fanelli gives his fantasy football bold predictions for Week 4 of the NFL season, giving fantasy players something to think about when setting their lineups.

Week 4 is here, and I’m back with another edition of fantasy football bold predictions. This week’s list of bold predictions will include Kyler Murray, Aaron Jones, Chuba Hubbard, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Dalton Kincaid.

Every week, I will provide some fun and bold fantasy football predictions. While these bold predictions aren’t the most likely outcomes, they are things I believe could happen this week.

Let’s look at my five bold predictions for Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Kyler Murray…

Becomes the first quarterback to have over 35 fantasy points this season

Murray was a popular mid-round pick at the quarterback position this year. The former No. 1 NFL Draft pick is the QB5 for the season, averaging 19.2 fantasy points per game. However, his best performance came in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams, totaling 28.5 fantasy points.

The superstar had his way with the NFC West division rivals, completing 81% of his pass attempts for 266 yards and three impressive touchdowns. Furthermore, Murray averaged 1.1 fantasy points per pass attempt and 1.2 per rushing attempt in that Week 2 victory. Yet, he can be even better this week against the Washington Commanders.

Last week, the Commanders offense was outstanding, totaling 38 points in the win over the Cincinnati Bengals. However, their defense was atrocious, surrendering 33 points in the game. Furthermore, the Bengals never had to punt on Monday night. Joe Burrow had 324 passing yards, three touchdowns, and 25.4 fantasy points against Washington.

Fantasy players shouldn’t be surprised to see this matchup have the highest over/under total in Week 4. Both teams have an explosive and dynamic offense led by dual-threat quarterbacks and an awful defense that can’t stop a nosebleed.

Murray only needed 21 pass attempts to score 28.5 fantasy points in a blowout win against the Rams. Imagine what he can do in a more competitive game against an awful defense.

Aaron Jones…

Has two touchdowns against his former team

Many in the fantasy football community, including myself, were wrong about Jones. The veteran running back has remained healthy and played some of the best football of his career, averaging 4.8 yards per rushing attempt this season. Furthermore, he is the RB11 over the first three weeks, averaging 16.2 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.

More importantly, Jones has found the end zone in two of three games, including last week against the Houston Texans. The veteran running back has no ill feelings toward his former team. However, he wants a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. But why stop at one touchdown when you can have two?

Jones has accounted for 22.2% of the team’s offensive touchdowns this season, including 12.5% of the receiving scores. While there isn’t any resentment between the veteran and his former team, expect the Minnesota Vikings coaching staff to make Jones a focal point of the game plan for his sake and because of the matchup.

The Packers have struggled to slow down opposing running backs this season, giving up 100 or more rushing yards in two of three games. More importantly, they had no answer for Saquon Barkley in Week 1, giving up three touchdowns to the superstar on 26 touches. While Jones isn’t an elite running back like Barkley, the Vikings should give him every chance to stick it to his former team.

Chuba Hubbard…

Finishes the week as a top-3 running back

It’s amazing how much an offense can change after making one adjustment. However, that adjustment was significant, as the Carolina Panthers benched Bryce Young and started Andy Dalton in Week 3. The Panthers got their first win this season, defeating the Las Vegas Raiders in blowout fashion. While Dalton was outstanding, Hubbard bounced back after an awful two-week run to start the year.

Hubbard was the RB5 in Week 3, scoring 25.4 half-point PPR fantasy points. The former Oklahoma State star had 21 rushing attempts for 114 yards, averaging 5.4 yards per attempt. He also played a massive role in the passing game, totaling five receptions for 55 receiving yards and a touchdown against the Raiders.

Fantasy players should anticipate another RB1 finish from the veteran running back in Week 4. Hubbard faces a Cincinnati Bengals run defense that has been exploited over the first three weeks. It has surrendered the ninth-most rushing yards per game to running backs (107), giving up 114 or more twice.

Furthermore, the Washington Commanders backfield had two rushing touchdowns and 23 fantasy points against Cincinnati last week despite averaging only 3.5 yards per attempt. The best thing Carolina can do to protect its struggling defense is to keep the clock running and give Hubbard a massive workload.

Marvin Harrison Jr.…

Beats Jauan Jennings’ Week 3 fantasy total

What’s better than one bold prediction for the Arizona Cardinals? Two bold predictions! Harrison had an awful NFL debut in Week 1, totaling one reception on three targets for four receiving yards and 0.9 half-point PPR fantasy points. Many jumped to call the rookie receiver a fantasy bust and a must-sell candidate. Thankfully, those people were wrong.

Harrison had his way with an awful and banged-up Los Angeles Rams secondary in Week 2, totaling four receptions for 130 receiving yards, two touchdowns, and 27 fantasy points in the first quarter. The star rookie also had five receptions on 11 targets for 64 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 14.9 fantasy points last week against the Detroit Lions in a game where the Cardinals had the ball for only 23 minutes.

Thankfully, that won’t happen in Week 4 against the Washington Commanders. Both teams have an awful defense and an explosive offense, leading to plenty of opportunities for Harrison to rip away Washington’s awful secondary. Last week, Ja'Marr Chase didn’t break a sweat, totaling 118 receiving yards, two touchdowns, and 26.8 fantasy points on seven targets against the Commanders.

The rookie receiver has had several opportunities to make big plays over the past two weeks but just missed connecting with Kyler Murray. Expect that to change on Sunday afternoon against the NFL’s worst secondary. After seeing Jennings score 41 fantasy points in Week 3, don’t be surprised if Harrison says, “Hold my beer,” and beats that total, especially if Trey McBride misses the game with a concussion.

Dalton Kincaid…

Ends the week as the TE1

While the fantasy football community freaks out over the slow start at the tight-end position, Kincaid showed signs of life over the past two weeks. He had the Buffalo Bills’ first two targets in Week 2 before leaving the game with a hit to the head. While the second-year player only had two more targets after returning to the contest, the game became a blowout.

Last week, Kincaid finished second on the team with five targets despite the game being a blowout before halftime. The former Utah star finished Week 3 as the TE5, scoring 11.6 half-point PPR fantasy points after totaling three receptions for 41 receiving yards and the second touchdown in the game.

Fantasy players shouldn’t be worried about Kincaid’s slow start this year. The Bills are finding their identity after losing Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis in the offseason. Unfortunately, having two blowout wins over the first three weeks hasn’t helped the team find its identity. Yet, Kincaid is in prime position for a massive performance on Sunday night.

Buffalo faces the Baltimore Ravens in a potential AFC Championship matchup. While the Ravens had an elite defense in 2023, they have struggled this year. Baltimore has surrendered 13.2 fantasy points per game to tight ends despite not giving up a touchdown, the second most in the NFL. Tight ends have averaged 93.3 receiving yards per game against the Ravens, totaling 100 or more in back-to-back contests.
