Rachaad White...
Posts top-five RB numbers against the Browns in Week 12
The rookie running back has increasingly been a more significant factor out of the backfield for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. White was the pass-catching option for Tom Brady, but his role continued to grow. He has seemingly taken over the lead-back role over the veteran Leonard Fournette. In Week 11, we saw White achieve his first 100-yard rushing game against the Seattle Seahawks.
With Leonard Fournette still sore from his hip pointer last week, we should see plenty of the rookie running back in a plus matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Fantasy managers know to start White this week, but they should also expect top-five production against a Browns run defense that surrenders 135.1 rushing yards per game and allows the second-most fantasy points to running backs this season.
Kenneth Walker III...
Finishes as the RB1
Another rookie running back makes a list this week with the Seattle Seahawks, Kenneth Walker getting ready to pounce on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12. Walker has been sensational since he took over for the injured Rashaad Penny in the Seahawks backfield. He has produced two RB2 finishes and was the RB5 in Week 6. In this week's matchup, Walker achieves the top fantasy running back in return from his bye week, which should provide fresh legs to take on a Raiders run defense, allowing 122.9 rushing yards per game and 4.4 yards per carry.
Walker should have plenty of room to roam with the Raiders' defense attempting to slow down the Seahawks' aerial attack of Geno Smith and his elite wideout weapons, DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. The Raiders' defense will be no match for this offense, especially rookie sensation Walker who will produce a stat line reminiscent of his Week 7 explosion against the Los Angeles Chargers when he ran for 167 yards and two scores.
Michael Pittman Jr....
Explodes for 100-plus yards and two touchdowns
The Indianapolis Colts finally wised up and told Frank Reich to leave. His decision to start Sam Ehlinger was a gut punch to the Colts' chances to succeed this season. While the hiring of Jeff Saturday was a complete shock, Saturday has brought life back to the Colts team. Going back to Matt Ryan behind center has also injected energy into Michael Pittman Jr. In his last two contests, Pittman has produced 13 receptions on 16 targets for 128 yards. Pittman has become fantasy relevant again, and with a 25% target share, the big plays will also return.
Those splash plays should return in Week 12 when the Colts welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers to Lucas Oil Stadium on Monday Night Football. Pittman should thrive against a Steelers defense that surrenders a league-worst 272.1 passing yards per game. In addition, the Steelers allow the most fantasy points to wide receivers (36.0 points per game) through 11 weeks. Combining those factors, Pittman will produce career-high numbers, exploding for almost 200 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins...
Both finish as WR1s with 100-plus yards and a score
All signs point to Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon not suiting up this week due to still being in the concussion protocol. However, the Bengals expect another offensive weapon to return. Joe Burrow said he expects Ja'Marr Chase back. While Chase has been designated as limited in practice, that is still an improvement and a positive sign that we will see the stud wideout make his return this week in their Week 12 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
The Bengals are third in the NFL, averaging 26.5 points per game without their big-play receiver for the last three contests. Fantasy managers must love how the Bengals' offensive attack matchups against a Titans pass defense that surrenders 33.6 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season. Both wideouts should shine. Head coach Zac Taylor directs the aerial attack to take advantage of this juicy matchup. Chase was WR4 before his hip injury, and that elite production should continue in his first game back, along with his fellow wideout Tee Higgins. The Bengals duo will each 100-plus yards and a score in leading the Bengals to a mild upset against the Titans in Week 12.
