BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 23% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Bobby Bradley's 2019 MLB debut didn't end up to anyone's liking, and that clearly made folks forget that Bradley had properly earned a top-100 prospect distinction off of his robust bat in the minors. Injuries and statistical necessity left Cleveland hurting at first base and DH, and with Bradley having produced nine homers and a .751 OPS in 97 2021 Triple-A AB (plus 45 HR and a .251/.328/.529 slash in 613 total Triple-A AB), he was the natural call-up choice.
In 32 MLB AB so far this season (as of Friday, 6/18), the Chicago-native has six XBH (two doubles, four homers) and a slash of .375/.429/.813, having greatly improved his strikeout rate to better-than-league-average with an 8.6% walk rate. 12.5% line drives is far from ideal, but with 37.5% fly balls, a scorching 92.6 MPH average exit velocity, and 41.7% hard contact, his .438 ISO and 11.4% HR rate appear sustainable in large part. Bobby Bradley is the guy that clubbed 139 combined homers across his five complete minor league seasons from ages 19-23, and now freshly at 25, his quick start out of the gate could indicate a real breakout, making him a shot worth taking in moderately-sized leagues.
