If you’re gonna talk a big game about how the most powerful cornerbacks in the league can’t even stop you, you should first make sure you’re also immune to inanimate objects. Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson went on the record the other day with ESPN’s John Keim, expressing that “I don’t think no one can guard me,” after teammate Chris Culliver was assigned the job of covering Jackson during practice. “You could go get Darrelle Revis, Richard Sherman, who ever you want to get.”
He forgot to call out blocking sleds, and they noticed.
As he was finishing up a route during Thursday’s training camp, Jackson collided with a blocking sled and was taken down. According to numerous reports, Jackson was sidelined with an ice bag on his shoulder.
No word yet on if Jackson was run over by a parked car as he was leaving training camp today.
