Welcome to Blank Gameweek 29, RotoBallers! This is our third year covering FPL, and we are bringing you more coverage than ever. We publish two weekly articles: a staff roundtable preview and our weekly rankings. Then, once a month, we have our newest report, The Watchlist, which reviews the previous month and looks ahead to the upcoming fixtures.
Twenty-eight gameweeks down, 10 to go. Due to conflicts with the F.A. Cup quarterfinals, there are only four games in FPL this weekend. Burnley-Brentford and Luton-Nottingham Forest start things before a London derby between Fulham and Tottenham on Saturday evening. Then, on Sunday, West Ham and Aston Villa battle it out as they continue to fight on the domestic and continental fronts week in and week out.
The Fantasy Premier League Blank Gameweek 29 deadline is 9:30 a.m. EDT on Saturday, March 16, when two of this week's four fixtures kick off. Also, look out for the rest of our excellent soccer coverage, as the squad gets you all set for every English Premier League, Major League Soccer, and UEFA Champions League slate from a DFS and betting perspective.
I seldom play #EPL #DFS. But when I do, I make sure I check out my @RotoBaller buddies @EuanFPL and @df_solutions

Fantasy Premier League - Blank Gameweek 29 Rankings
Our weekly rankings highlight players who could be worth a punt in your Fantasy Premier League squad. While the rankings will be filled with familiar names, a low-owned player with an easy fixture will rise up the one-week charts. For each gameweek, we will provide our top-15 goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. These can also be applied as DFS rankings for your weekend contests.
Double Gameweek 28 Fantasy Premier League High Scorers
- Goalkeeper: Andre Onana, Man United - 11 points
- Defender: Ben White, Arsenal - 11 points
- Midfielder: Son Heung-min, Spurs - 17 points
- Forward: Antoine Semenyo, Bournemouth - 15 points
FPL Goalkeepers - Blank Gameweek 29 Rankings
- None of the defenses in Blank Gameweek 29 are tasty, but Mark Flekken is the best. An away tie against Burnley is helpful, as the Clarets have scored the fewest home goals in the Premier League this season. Brentford also has the third-easiest schedule over the next six gameweeks, so Flekken is a good option, whether slamming him in for one week on a Free Hit or transferring him in as a long-term fix.
Ranking | Name | Team | Opp | Pred. Pts. | Clean Sheet % |

FPL Defenders - Blank Gameweek 29 Rankings
- I've already said it, but Blank Gameweek 29 does not look good for clean sheet prospects. Therefore, FPL managers need to find defenders who can provide attacking returns. Over the last six gameweeks, Alfie Doughty leads the position in crosses, successful crosses, and chances created. The Hatters wingback had one assist on Wednesday evening and probably should've added a second to his double gameweek tally. Still, a fixture versus Forest is something to attack, and Doughty can navigate the Tricky Trees.

FPL Midfielders - Blank Gameweek 29 Rankings
- For Blank Gameweek 29, Son Heung-min is non-negotiable. He has to be in your FPL lineup. The next problem to solve is whether James Maddison fits that bill. The midfield maestro has yet to recapture his early-season form for Spurs, but he did find the scoresheet in Gameweek 28. Spurs is still missing Richarlison, but a supporting cast with Son, Timo Werner, Brennan Johnson, and Dejan Kulusevski provides Maddison with plenty of outlets to accumulate FPL points via his assist ability.
Ranking | Name | Team | Opp | Pred. Pts. | Goal % | Assist % |

FPL Forwards - Blank Gameweek 29 Rankings
- Ollie Watkins and Ivan Toney will be the most popular forwards in FPL this weekend. However, the decision for the third and final forward spot will swing a lot of gameweeks. Carlton Morris is on penalties for Luton and loves a header. He's got a match made in heaven against a lousy set-piece defending side in Forest. Meanwhile, Yoane Wissa is reaching the end of Brentford's goals, as is Rodrigo Muniz for Fulham. Any of the three London forwards can claim that spot, but Muniz is my favorite.
