BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end streaming option
ANALYSIS: New Orleans Saints kicker Blake Grupe isn't a great fantasy option in Week 16 against the Los Angeles Rams, but fantasy managers in 14-team leagues who are still streaming kickers might need to trust Grupe, who rates as a midrange K2 option for Thursday night's contest.
Grupe made five of his six field goal attempts in Week 12 against Atlanta, but it's been downhill from there. In the past three games, he's had just two total field goal attempts as the Saints' offense has improved and has managed to get the ball into the end zone consistently.
The good part of that is Grupe has made 11 extra points in the past three games. The bad part -- in fantasy football, an extra point is worth significantly less than a field goal is. Grupe has been a good real-life kicker this season, but he's also had seven games where he made either zero or one field goal. That lack of volume is definitely a concern. If you have to play Grupe, you can be satisfied that he's likely to hit most of the kicks he attempts, but the volume might just be too low for him to deliver a strong fantasy score.
