New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson was the second overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, he is part of an underwhelming quarterback class that year. The former BYU star has had a rocky NFL career.
Wilson started 22 games over the first two years of his career, missing multiple contests because of injuries. However, he has also been benched several times during his short time in the league. Last year, the young quarterback was supposed to spend the season learning from the bench. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen after Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles in Week 1.
The former BYU star was forced to start most of the year with the future Hall of Famer suffering a season-ending injury. Wilson played in 12 games, totaling 2,271 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and seven interceptions.

What Is Zack Wilson’s Trade Value?
Owner Woody Johnson recently criticized the Jets, saying the team didn’t have a backup quarterback last season. New York has given Wilson permission to seek a trade as his time with the team is over. Unfortunately, the Jets won’t get much for the former BYU star.
Reportedly, New York will likely net a late Day 3 draft pick for Wilson. While some teams will give the former No. 2 overall pick a shot as a backup because of his high draft capital, others have zero interest in trading for the quarterback.

According to @RichCimini - NFL teams might be willing to part with a 6th/7th round pick to take a chance on Wilson as a backup due to his draft pedigree.

What Are The Best Landing Spots For Zach Wilson?
The Jets will have limited trade partners this offseason. However, a few teams are reportedly interested in Wilson, with the Los Angeles Rams at the top of the list.
Landing in Los Angeles would be ideal for the former No. 2 overall pick. If anyone can turn his career around, it is Sean McVay. Wilson could sit behind Matthew Stafford for a year or two before getting another shot as a starting quarterback. Furthermore, the Rams have multiple young weapons to help him out, including Puka Nacua.

Reportedly, Lost Angeles isn't the only team interested in Wilson. The Minnesota Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs have explored trading for the former No. 2 overall pick. Both teams would be appealing landing spots for the young quarterback.
