BALLER MOVE: Add in Most Leagues
ANALYSIS: Got steals? If not, Ben Revere can help that category as well as anyone. Revere missed the second half of 2013 with a broken foot, having two screws inserted. While he has not hit the DL this year, he missed 10 full games and other starts with a stomach virus, knee injury and his same injured foot. Despite these hindrances, Revere has 26 stolen bases, has scored 41 runs and is batting .292 – all stats that can help your team in basically any type of league. Implications for some specific leagues are that Revere has no idea how to take a walk and is powerless. He has a meager ten walks during 2014 and hit his first home run ever in May in his 1,466th career at bat. He should probably be avoided in leagues where you need home runs badly and where OBP or BBs is a statistic. Revere’s ankle may be an issue during the second half but he should be owned in just about every other league just for his wheels.
