Divisional games in the NFL are typically a gritty, knockdown, drag-out fight. Throw in a revenge game narrative and excitement over the matchup builds.
David Montgomery gets to face off against the team that drafted him for the first time in his career. But running space made be hard to come by for backs on both sides. The Bears and Lions rank second and third, respectively, for the fewest rushing yards allowed per game. With Khalil Herbert making his return, five different running backs may receive a handful of touches (or more). That doesn't include Justin Fields, who will also return, and take off running several times himself.
Below, we'll look at the matchup as a whole before recognizing which players are worth starting, and who should be avoided in Week 11.

Bears @ Lions Matchup Overview
It's taken 30 years for the Lions to dominate the NFC North, and the hope is that they can secure their first divisional title since 1993 later this season. Securing victories in the winnable games is the first step to proving that they belong. This game falls in that category, as the Lions are more than a touchdown favorite over the Bears.
Statistically, Detroit is a better offense than some seasonal juggernauts like Kansas City, Dallas, Buffalo, and Philadelphia. The Bears are nowhere near the same level but have played the last four games with undrafted rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent. Justin Fields will give the offense the boost that they've been missing.
