Updating a previous report, Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder A.J. Pollock will be out of the lineup on Friday with a hand issue. He tweaked his hand in Thursday's game during the collision with Chris Owings. Manager Torey Lovullo says it's not serious and expects Pollock to be in the lineup on Saturday.

Arizona Diamondbacks utility man Chris Owings was diagnosed with a head contusion following a collision with A.J. Pollock on Thursday. Manager Torey Lovullo says that Owings avoided a concussion and will be day-to-day while he is re-evaluated. If he misses any time, Jarrod Dyson would be the main beneficiary of increased playing time.
