Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco was completely dominant on Friday but was denied a victory. In eight innings, he allowed just one earned run (two runs total) on six hits and one walks while striking out 14. David A Marcillo 6 years agoDarren Sproles Leads the Eagles Backfield in Snaps
Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles led the Eagles backfield in snaps on Thursday night. He ran the ball five times for 10 yards and secured four catches for 22 yards. Sproles looked as good as ever in this one despite the putrid quarterback play from Nick Foles. Jay Ajayi did end up with more […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoCorey Clement Gets Five Carries on Thursday
Philadelphia Eagles running back Corey Clement ran the ball five times on Thursday night, gaining 26 yards. Almost all of Clement's yardage came on a huge 21-yard run, he was bottled up otherwise. Mixing into the backfield for hurry up work, Clement did what he was supposed to do. He seemed to be operating behind […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoZach Ertz Hauls in Five Passes on Thursday
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz caught five passes on Thursday night, gaining 48 yards. He had a long gain of 18, but also was charged with his first drop since the 2016 season. It was an awful game by quarterback Nick Foles, but Ertz still managed to put up a decent enough performance. He'll […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoNelson Agholor Catches Eight Passes on Thursday
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor was targeted 10 times on Thursday night, catching eight passes. He somehow managed to gain just 33 yards total on those eight catches. Quarterback Nick Foles played very poorly, throwing errant passes that Agholor was able to catch, but often had to go down with immediately. It was a […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoJay Ajayi Scores Twice on Thursday Night
Philadelphia Eagles running back Jay Ajayi scored two touchdowns on Thursday night, running the ball 15 times for 62 yards. Ajayi got off to a slow start and ceded plenty of snaps to Darren Sproles and Corey Clement, but he ended up scoring two huge touchdowns, helping the Eagles win 18-12. He may not stay […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoNick Foles Leads His Team to a Win Despite Not Doing Much
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, starting in place of the injured Carson Wentz (knee), led his team to a win on Thursday night despite not putting up impressive numbers at all. Foles completed 19-of-34 passes for just 117 scoreless yards. He also threw an interception, but the Eagles ultimately won 18-12. Foles was very much […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoMack Hollins Sent to Injured Reserve
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Mack Hollins was placed on injured reserve due to a groin injury. Hollins was slated for a much bigger role in his sophomore season, but he needs more time to recover from sports hernia surgery. He's a candidate to return in the second half of the season, but he certainly doesn't […]

Cleveland Indians relief pitcher Brad Hand picked up his 32nd save of the season on Wednesday, striking out the side in the ninth inning to close out a 3-1 win for his team. With Cody Allen working the eighth inning ahead of Hand in this one, it looks like Hand is taking over the closer's […]

David A Marcillo 6 years agoTavon Austin Shouldn't Be Near Starting Lineups in Week 1
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver/running back Tavon Austin should not be anywhere near a starting lineup for Week 1. While Austin has drawn rave reviews both from his quarterback and his coaches, he still seems low on the pecking order and will need designed plays in order to make much noise on the field. While this […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoMichael Gallup Could Do Some Damage on Sunday
Dallas Cowboys rookie wide receiver Michael Gallup may be the only Dallas receiver worth starting in fantasy on Sunday for Week 1. Facing the Carolina Panthers defense, a unit that allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers last season, Gallup could lead the Cowboys in receiving. He looked good in the preseason and […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoTerrance Williams Not a Week 1 Fantasy Option
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams is not a recommended fantasy option in Week 1. Despite going up against a Carolina Panthers defense that gave up the fifth-most points to opposing wide receivers last season, Williams likely won't do much. With wide receivers Allen Hurns and Michael Gallup seeming like more appealing targets for quarterback […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoAllen Hurns Not a Great Option Despite a Strong Matchup
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Allen Hurns is not a great fantasy option for Week 1 despite a good matchup against the Carolina Panthers defense. Hurns barely did anything in the preseason and was dealing with a groin injury for most of it. He's expected to play in Week 1, but he and quarterback Dak Prescott […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoEzekiel Elliott Should Put Up Decent Numbers on Sunday
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott might not amaze in Week 1, but he should put up solid enough numbers when Dallas travels to Carolina to face the Panthers. Elliott will certainly receive enough carries to put up some points, but his usage in the passing game remains to be seen. The Carolina defense did […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoDak Prescott Could Disappoint in Week 1
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is not a highly recommended fantasy option in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers. He is currently ranked somewhere in the lower half of the QB2 tier for the first week. His rushing could provide a decent floor, but with the Cowboys playing as underdogs on the road, he likely […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoJordan Hicks Records a Save on Tuesday
St. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Jordan Hicks earned a save on Tuesday, recording an out against the only batter he faced. Hicks was warming up in the bullpen for a regular save chance, but the Cardinals offense extended the lead to 11-5 before Hicks came in. When a pair of Cardinals relievers struggled and turned […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoJose Ramirez Getting Wednesday Off
Cleveland Indians infielder Jose Ramirez is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Kansas City Royals. There doesn't seem to be any kind of injury to worry about here, it's just a routine day off for Ramirez. Yandy Diaz will step in to play third base and hit third while Ramirez gets […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoMike Clevinger Pitches Well on Tuesday
Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Mike Clevinger pitched well again on Tuesday, picking up a win and a quality start. He pitched six innings, striking out 10 and allowing just one run in his fifth double digit strikeout game of the season. Clevinger throws too many pitches and rarely goes deep into games, but he's been […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoDallas Goedert Not a Strong Option in Week 1
Philadelphia Eagles rookie tight end Dallas Goedert is not a strong fantasy option in a Week 1 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Goedert will certainly have a role this season, especially in the first few weeks while Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) is out, but with Zach Ertz as the starting tight end, Goedert will be playing […]
David A Marcillo 6 years agoZach Ertz Could Have a Monster Week 1
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz could have a huge Week 1 on Thursday night. With Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) out for the game and Nick Foles starting under center, the entire Eagles offense could realistically rest on Ertz's shoulders. He's ranked as the TE3 for Week 1, but has legitimate TE1 upside this week and […]
