Zach Ertz Makes Seven Catches in Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz made seven catches in Week 4, gaining 65 yards. Ertz led the team in catches by a wide margin, but was unable to come down with a touchdown. That's two straight somewhat pedestrian efforts from Ertz, but his usage shows that he's due for a breakout performance very soon.
David A Marcillo 5 years agoDarren Sproles Gets One Carry in Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles received just one carry in Week 4, gaining four yards. He didn't make a catch in the passing game. Sproles has become almost exclusively a special teams player, and can be dropped in most standard formats. He could develop some value if another Eagles running back gets hurt, but […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoMiles Sanders Runs Well But Gets Vultured in Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles rookie running back Miles Sanders ran the ball well in Week 4, but watched Jordan Howard score three touchdowns. Sanders ran the ball 11 times for 72 scoreless yards. He did not make a catch in the passing game. Sanders ran well when given the chance, but Howard got seven more touches and […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoJordan Howard Scores Three Times in Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard found the end zone three times on Thursday night. He ran the ball 15 times for 87 yards and two touchdowns, adding three catches for 28 more yards and another touchdown. Howard significantly outplayed Miles Sanders and may end up getting more run going forward. He ran the ball […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoCarson Wentz Throws Three Touchdowns in Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz tossed three touchdowns on Thursday night. Otherwise, he wasn't great. He completed 16 of his 27 pass attempts for just 160 yards. Wentz's first touchdown pass was a six-yard strike to Alshon Jeffery. His second was a three-yard toss to Dallas Goedert, and his final score came on a 20-yard […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoCowboys Defense An OK Option In Week 4
The Dallas Cowboys Defense is an OK play in Week 4, although they should be downgraded from their must-start status of previous weeks. The Cowboys will face off against a solid New Orleans Saints offense (even without Drew Brees) on the road for Sunday Night Football. It's expected to be a close game, but it […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoBrett Maher Kicking Indoors in Week 4
Dallas Cowboys kicker Brett Maher is on the road with his teammates in Week 4, but he'll still get to kick indoors. Taking on the Saints on Sunday Night Football, Maher should be involved in what is expected to be a close game. He's one of the more stable kicking options in fantasy and can […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoBlake Jarwin Not a Starting Option in Week 4
Dallas Cowboys tight end Blake Jarwin is not a recommended fantasy starter in any format in Week 4. The Cowboys will be battling against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football, and the Saints have been solid at defending opposing tight ends so far this season. With Jason Witten getting most of the snaps […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoJason Witten Has a Tough Matchup in Week 4
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten has been solid so far this season, but is looking at a tough matchup on Sunday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints in Week 4. As he has been for most of his career, Witten's been boosted by touchdowns and would be putting in very low-floor weeks without […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoDevin Smith a Risky High-Ceiling Play in Week 4
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Devin Smith is a low-floor, high-ceiling play in Week 4. The Cowboys travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints in what should be a close game. With Michael Gallup (knee) out again, Smith should serve as the deep threat/seam stretcher and could come down with another long touchdown. Playing […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoRandall Cobb Not a Reliable Option for Week 4
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Randall Cobb is not a reliable fantasy option in a Week 4 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Cobb could have made some noise in Week 3 but he had a 74-yard score called back after a penalty. Still, he ended up with just two catches on four total targets even […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoAmari Cooper Should Have Another WR1 Week
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is looking like a WR1 again for Week 4. The Cowboys will travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints on Sunday Night Football, and Cooper should once again be the focal point of the passing game. With Michael Gallup (knee) set to miss another game, Cooper should […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoTony Pollard Likely to Make Less Noise in Week 4
Dallas Cowboys rookie running back Tony Pollard will likely step back into his limited role as Ezekiel Elliott's backup in Week 4. Pollard scored a touchdown and ran for over 100 yards in Week 3, but that was mostly in garbage time against a useless Miami Dolphins team. With Week 4 taking the Cowboys to […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoEzekiel Elliott One of the Top Week 4 Running Backs
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is one of the top options at the position in Week 4. Traveling to New Orleans to take on the Saints on Sunday Night Football, "Zeke" should be fully unleashed for the first time this season. He simply wasn't needed at the end of a laugher against the Miami […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoDak Prescott a Strong QB1 for Week 4
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is a strong QB1 choice for a Week 4 Sunday Night Football matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Prescott has thrived in new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore's offensive scheme and should continue to play well indoors on Sunday evening. He's in the top half of QB1 rankings on most lists […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoEagles Defense Just a Middling Option in Week 4
The Philadelphia Eagles Defense is not an exciting unit for Week 4. Taking on the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football, the Eagles defense is likely to turn in a "good enough" performance, but most fantasy leagues will have higher upside options on the waiver wire. The Eagles defense came into the season expected […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoJake Elliott a Solid Kicking Option in Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott is a solid kicking option in Week 4. With the Eagles taking on the strong defense of the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football, Elliott could be needed for field goal attempts if offensive drives stall out. He's made all of his field goal tries so far this season […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoDallas Goedert Just a Desperation Play in Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert is expected to play in Week 4, but won't be more than a desperation option in most standard formats. Even in two-TE leagues, Goedert is a risky play. Taking on a Green Bay Packers Defense that defends well against opposing tight ends, Goedert will take his customary backseat to […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoZach Ertz A Top Tight End In Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz is an easy TE1 option in Week 4, as always. Ertz was double-covered for most of Week 3 and was still able to catch four passes for 64 yards. With Alshon Jeffery (calf) back in the lineup and likely to draw at least some attention away from Ertz, Ertz […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoJ.J. Arcega-Whiteside Could Be Headed Back To Bench
Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside was expected to play a significant role in Week 3, but he ended up catching just one pass for 10 yards. With starters DeSean Jackson (groin) and Alshon Jeffery (calf) both out in Week 3, Arcega-Whiteside was on the field for plenty of offensive plays, but he was […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoMack Hollins Should Still Have a Role in Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Mack Hollins should still have an offensive role in Week 4. Facing off against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football, Hollins will benefit from DeSean Jackson (abdomen) missing another week. With Alshon Jeffery (calf) expected to return to the lineup, Hollins won't have quite as big a role as […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoNelson Agholor Should Still Have an Expanded Role in Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor should maintain an expanded role in Week 4. With both Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson out in Week 3, Agholor took on the role of Carson Wentz's number one wide receiver and gave the Eagles an all expenses paid trip on "Nelson Agholor's Wild Ride". He scored a touchdown […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoAlshon Jeffery Should Be a Decent Week 4 Option
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (calf) is expected to play on Thursday Night Football in Week 4 and should be a solid option in fantasy lineups. Jeffery missed the second half in Week 2 and was inactive in Week 3, but he was able to practice in full on Tuesday and Wednesday and should […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoCorey Clement Completely Off the Fantasy Radar in Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles running back Corey Clement is completely off the fantasy radar for Week 4. Clement was inactive in Week 3 due to a shoulder injury, but even when healthy he's been relegated almost exclusively to special teams. Clement has yet to record an offensive statistic and is unlikely to see much playing time unless […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoDarren Sproles Not Worth a Start in Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles has been mostly phased out of the offense and is not a starting option in Week 4 fantasy matchups. Sproles had 11 touches in Week 1 and looked like a legitimate fantasy running back, but has totaled just five touches since then. He maintains his key role on special […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoJordan Howard A Touchdown-Dependent Week 4 Option
Philadelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard will likely need to score a touchdown in order to make himself a fantasy-relevant option on Thursday Night Football in Week 4. Howard has been playing behind rookie Miles Sanders and has just 99 yards total in the first three games of the season. He did score a touchdown […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoMiles Sanders Looks to Hang Onto the Ball in Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles rookie running back Miles Sanders will try to keep the ball off the ground in Week 4. Sanders fumbled twice in Week 3 and had seriously concerning fumbling issues in college. Still, he was able to pick up 53 yards on 13 carries and 73 yards on two catches against the Lions. He […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoCarson Wentz An OK Option For Week 4
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is just an OK option as a fantasy starter in Week 4. Wentz was blamed for several things that were not realistically his fault in Week 3, but those same things -- like blatant drops and careless fumbles from his skill players -- could resurface in Week 4 against the […]
David A Marcillo 5 years agoJack Flaherty Masterful Over Seven Innings on Tuesday
St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty was masterful on Tuesday night. He took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before ultimately settling for allowing just one hit in seven innings. He walked two and struck out 11. Flaherty has been one of the best pitchers in the universe since the All-Star Game, bringing his […]
