Andy Webb 6 years agoEd Davis Ruled Out for Game 4
Brooklyn Nets center Ed Davis (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's Game 4 against the Philadelphia 76ers. He was not able to practice on Friday after tweaking his ankle during Game 3 on Thursday. Davis hasn't been able to do much on the court since Game 1, so this won't be a huge blow […]

Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner (hamstring, ankle) will return to the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. This will be Turner's first game in the lineup since Monday. Turner will play third base and bat third against righty Zach Davies. He'll be a decent DFS option for Thursday.
Andy Webb 6 years agoAlex Cobb Remains on Track to Pitch Friday
Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Alex Cobb (back) is expected to return to the starting rotation for Friday's game against the Minnesota Twins. Cobb was placed on the injured list April 6 due to back discomfort. Cobb doesn't appear to be 100 percent, but he's going to pitch through the pain. Cobb is not someone who […]
Andy Webb 6 years agoBlake Snell Throws Again on Thursday
Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell (toe) was able to throw again on Thursday. Snell was able to play catch on Wednesday and he appears to be heading in the right direction. Snell is scheduled to be activated off the injured list on Tuesday, so he should return to the rotation shortly after that. […]
Andy Webb 6 years agoRyan Yarbrough is Active for Thursday
Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Ryan Yarbrough is active for Thursday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. However, the Rays named Hunter Wood as Thursday's opener, so it's possible that Yarbrough comes in after him. Neither Yarbrough nor Wood have much fantasy value here. Wood can be avoided since he won't pitch long enough to record the […]

Andy Webb 6 years agoDwight Howard Expected to Pick Up Player Option
Washington Wizards center Dwight Howard is expected to pick up his player option for the 2019-20 season. He only played nine games due to back issues in 2018-19, but has a $5.6 million player option. Toronto Raptors guard Patrick McCaw (thumb) is listed as questionable for Friday's Game 3 versus the Orlando Magic. McCaw was able to practice on Sunday and go through shootaround on Tuesday. Andy Webb 6 years agoJared Dudley is Probable for Game 3
Brooklyn Nets forward Jared Dudley (calf) is listed as probable for Thursday's Game 3 versus the Philadelphia 76ers. Dudley missed Game 2 due to a right calf issue and his defense was clearly missed. Andy Webb 6 years agoDeMarcus Cousins Likely Out Six Weeks
Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins (quad) is expected to miss six weeks after suffering a Grade 2 quad tear. There is a chance that Cousins could return for the NBA Finals, but the Warriors don't anticipate Cousins playing again this season. Andy Webb 6 years agoBlake Griffin Remains Questionable for Game 2
Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin (knee) remains listed as questionable for Game 2 versus the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. Griffin was able to get up some shots at shootaround, so that's a good sign. It's unclear whether or not Griffin would be limited if he does play. It sounds unlikely that Griffin suits up for […]
Andy Webb 6 years agoJared Dudley Should Return for Game 3
Brooklyn Nets forward Jared Dudley (calf) is expected to return for Thursday's Game 3 versus the Philadelphia 76ers. Dudley was not able to play in Game 2, and his defense was missed in the loss. The […]

Washington Wizards center Thomas Bryant is coming off a breakout season with the Wizards. He averaged 10.5 points and 6.3 rebounds while shooting 61.6 percent from the floor. Seattle Mariners first baseman Jay Bruce (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Cleveland Indians. Andy Webb 6 years agoTyler O'Neill Exits Early on Monday
St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill (arm) left Monday's game versus the Milwaukee Brewers after making a throw from center field to home plate. The injury is being called right arm soreness. Hopefully this is a minor issue because O'Neill was hitting fairly well to start the season. Harrison Bader (hamstring) is sidelined as well, […]
Andy Webb 6 years agoJason Kipnis Activated From Injured List
Cleveland Indians infielder Jason Kipnis (calf) has been activated from the 10-day injured list on Monday. Kipnis has been sidelined all season due to a strained right calf. He struggled heavily during his rehab assignment, so there's little confidence he'll succeed much on the Indians. He's not going to have an impact in most fantasy […]
Andy Webb 6 years agoJake Bauers Sitting on Monday
Cleveland Indians outfielder Jake Bauers (rest) is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Seattle Mariners. This is not too surprising with lefty Yusei Kikuchi on the mound for Seattle. Carlos Gonzalez will bat third and play left field for the Indians, but he's not going to be much of a fantasy […]

DFS players can […]
Andy Webb 6 years agoShaun Livingston is Questionable for Game 2
Golden State Warriors guard Shaun Livingston (knee) is questionable for Game 2 versus the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday. Philadelphia 76ers center Jonah Bolden (knee) is available for Game 2 versus the Brooklyn Nets on Monday. He was listed as probable earlier due to a left knee issue. Brooklyn Nets center Ed Davis (ankle) will play in Monday's Game 2 versus the Philadelphia 76ers. Davis scored 12 points with 16 rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench during Game 1. Andy Webb 6 years agoJared Dudley Ruled Out for Game 2
