BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 9% of leagues
ANALYSIS: After back-to-back shutouts for St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Austin Gomber, the road will be tougher this week. He will face both the Dodgers and Rockies on the road, with his start in Denver as a particularly tough matchup.
Even with his tough matchups to come, in his last two outings, he struck out nine total batters and allowed only seven hits with zero earned runs. While Los Angeles and Colorado have better offenses than the Royals and Nationals, the teams he blanked, Gomber is still worth a look as a streamer. Both are in the top 10 in runs scored this season and the Rockies have the best team wOBA (.351) against left-handed pitchers this season. On the bright side, both teams are also in the top 11 in team strikeouts this year. Also, while it was in relief, Gomber did earn his first MLB win against Colorado. As a two start option for the streaking Cards, Gomber is a good two start streamer in deeper leagues.
