ANALYSIS: Washington Commanders running back Austin Ekeler should be viewed as a solid RB3/flex option heading into a Week 10 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Last weekend, Ekeler served as the lead back with Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) sidelined. In this game, Ekeler scored a season-high 17.3 PPR points.

However, Robinson returned to practice on Wednesday which suggests he should have a good chance to return to action this weekend.
Despite typically being deployed as the "1B" option in the Washington backfield, Ekeler has eclipsed double-digit PPR points in five of the eight games he has played in. He has seen an average of 3.1 targets and 6.3 rushing attempts per game.
Even though he will face a tough Pittsburgh defense that has allowed the 11th-fewest PPR points to opposing RBs, given his role as a third-down back, Ekeler should have opportunities to provide solid flex value.
