ANALYSIS: Coming into Week 11, it looked as though Estime had replaced Javonte Williams as the Broncos’ lead back. As a result, Estime was a hot waiver pickup and gamers were hoping he’d lead the backfield in touches again against a vulnerable Atlanta defense. Whoops.
Williams returned to his duties as lead back and had one of his best games of the season.

Most of Estimate’s usage came when the game was out of hand. This suggests that Estime has not taken over the backfield and that Denver seems to be taking a hot-hand approach at running back. This means that Estime is not a high waiver priority this week.
He still has some value since Williams may struggle again. This would leave the door open for Estime to reclaim some touches. However, it’s going to be nearly impossible to predict when this might happen. After this recent development, Estime is only worth adding in deeper leagues. He’s more of a bench stash than a viable starter at running back.
