The NASCAR Cup Series ran the Ambetter Health 400 this past Sunday afternoon at Atlanta Motor Speedway and it was Daniel Suarez winning in dramatic fashion, as a three-wide, photo-finish battle for the lead happened on the final lap.
Ryan Blaney, who finished runner-up by mere inches, had the beat Average Running Position in the race followed by a couple more Fords in Austin Cindric and Todd Gilliland. The Toyotas of Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex, Jr. rounded out the top five in that statistic.
Three of the top-five finishers of this race ranked inside the top nine when it came to Average Running Position. Race-winner, Daniel Suarez, came in at 13th-best when it came to Average Running Position.
