The Arizona Cardinals had high expectations last season after making the playoffs in 2021. However, things didn’t go according to plan. The Cardinals lost their Week 1 matchup to the Kansas City Chiefs, 44-21.
While the team won two of their next three matchups, the season went downhill from there. Arizona only won two of their final 13 games last year. Furthermore, the Cardinals had a seven-game losing streak to end the season.
Arizona is entering a rebuilding phase, meaning the team has low expectations this year. Let’s look at the Cardinals’ 2023 season and the fantasy outlook.

Who Do The Arizona Cardinals Face At Home In 2023?
The Cardinals have eight home games this season, including three against their divisional rivals. They face the Los Angeles Rams at home in Week 12, the San Francisco 49ers in Week 15, and the Seattle Seahawks to end the year in Week 18.
Arizona’s first home game this year is in Week 2 against the New York Giants. The Cardinals haven’t faced the Giants during the regular season since 2020. Arizona got the 26-7 win over New York that year.
Meanwhile, fantasy players should circle the Week 10 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons on their calendar. Kyler Murray might be back from the torn ACL injury by then. Furthermore, this matchup is likely Arizona’s best chance to win a game at home in 2023. Last year, these two teams faced off in Week 17, with the Falcons getting the 20-19 win.
However, Trey McBride had the best game of his rookie season against Atlanta. He caught seven of his 10 targets for 78 receiving yards and his first career touchdown in the loss.
Who Do The Arizona Cardinals Face On The Road In 2023?
The Cardinals start the 2023 season on the road against the Washington Commanders. Despite inconsistent quarterback production last year, the Commanders had a .500 record. These two teams haven’t faced off since the 2020 season.
Meanwhile, Arizona’s last road game of the year is in Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Murray should be on the field for this game unless the Cardinals shut down the star quarterback for the entire year. However, fantasy players should expect a big performance from Marquise Brown.
Last year these two teams faced off in Week 5. The star receiver caught eight of his 10 targets for 78 receiving yards and a touchdown in the 20-17 loss.
