BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3
ANALYSIS: New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson's new contract couldn't help him from catching a case of Fumbleitis, and that means backup running back Antonio Gibson, known ironically for fumbling often, could get an extra look by the Patriots coaching staff.
Antonio Gibson is literally the only running back with fewer attempts per fumble than Rhamondre Stevenson since the latter entered the league in 2021 lol https://t.co/txUadZh7mA pic.twitter.com/yi8iI5BCMn

So the Pats have the two most efficient players at fumbling the ball away in the league. Not good. Gibson is worth a pickup in most leagues just because he has the chance of becoming the starter or getting more looks, but it's not like either back has done well.
When the game matters, New England's offense is horrible. Gibson did crack double-digit PPR points last game, but that was in garbage time. What is interesting, though, is the next matchup. The Pats play the Miami Dolphins in Week 5, another team with a desperately floundering offense.
In what could become a Toilet Bowl for the ages, the offenses may get something decent going. But it would require a decent amount of targets for Gibson to be fantasy-viable, and don't look at QB Jacoby Brissett's stats if you're hopeful for that. Gibson isn't worth starting yet.

Cam Akers - Week 5 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Sit POSITIONAL VALUE: RB4 ANALYSIS: It doesn't matter if a running back is projected to have great volume because of injuries at the position. He can still be sat. Houston Texans running back Cam Akers was bad last year, has been bad this year, and has two Achilles tendon tears on his injury […]
Keon Coleman - Week 5 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Sit POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4/WR5 ANALYSIS: The list of reasons Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman isn't worth starting is pretty long. For one, Joe Brady is the offensive coordinator. Brady likes to run the ball and throw it to RB James Cook. When that doesn't work, the Bills usually lose (see last week […]
De'Von Achane - Week 5 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Borderline Start POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/Flex ANALYSIS: Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane, after being a clear must-start through the first two weeks, is now much more questionable due to the team's offensive situation. The absence of starting QB Tua Tagovailoa has turned Miami's best offensive playmakers from set-and-forget studs to massive headaches. The […]
Justin Watson - Week 5 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Sit POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5/WR6 ANALYSIS: Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has a significant knee injury and will miss at least a few games. Does this mean other Chiefs receivers are worth picking up and starting? It doesn't. Justin Watson has been in the NFL for six full seasons now and has […]
Jalen Tolbert - Week 5 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Sit POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/Flex ANALYSIS: Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Tolbert is an interesting player to keep your eyes on, but he hasn't done enough yet to justify a start, especially not against the fantastic Pittsburgh Steelers defense in Week 5. While fellow WR Brandin Cooks has been ruled out, it's just a […]
