BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3
ANALYSIS: New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson's new contract couldn't help him from catching a case of Fumbleitis, and that means backup running back Antonio Gibson, known ironically for fumbling often, could get an extra look by the Patriots coaching staff.
Antonio Gibson is literally the only running back with fewer attempts per fumble than Rhamondre Stevenson since the latter entered the league in 2021 lol https://t.co/txUadZh7mA pic.twitter.com/yi8iI5BCMn

So the Pats have the two most efficient players at fumbling the ball away in the league. Not good. Gibson is worth a pickup in most leagues just because he has the chance of becoming the starter or getting more looks, but it's not like either back has done well.
When the game matters, New England's offense is horrible. Gibson did crack double-digit PPR points last game, but that was in garbage time. What is interesting, though, is the next matchup. The Pats play the Miami Dolphins in Week 5, another team with a desperately floundering offense.
In what could become a Toilet Bowl for the ages, the offenses may get something decent going. But it would require a decent amount of targets for Gibson to be fantasy-viable, and don't look at QB Jacoby Brissett's stats if you're hopeful for that. Gibson isn't worth starting yet.
