Antonio Brown wants Ben Roethlisberger to come back, and badly. Ever since Big Ben injured his knee in Week 3, Brown's production has dropped dramatically.
Prior to Ben's injury, Brown had a 35 game streak of at least five receptions and 50 receiving yards. In the three games since Roethlisberger's injury, Brown has only had five receptions in one game, and has not eclipsed 50 receiving yards. Brown had his worst game of the season yesterday against the Arizona Cardinals, hauling in just three receptions for a meager 24 yards.
If you own Brown, you likely gave up a first-round pick for him, which makes the dip in production even more mind-numbing. Michael Vick has not had chemistry with Brown, and Brown has voiced his concerns with Vick in the past.
Despite the fact that Vick was knocked out of the game, and was replaced by Landry Jones, Martavis Bryant was the beneficiary of the switch - Bryant ended the game with six catches, 137 yards, and two touchdowns.
If you're an owner of Brown, the only thing to you can do is wait for Big Ben's return, which may come within the next two weeks. Selling low isn't an option for Brown owners. Brown has shown the ability to be the best receiver in the league when Big Ben is throwing him the ball, so though the wait is painful, there is nothing else you can do at this point.
