Though inconsistent in recent weeks, Antonio Andrews should be primed for one of his more productive outings of the season this week against the Jaguars. Andrews has established himself as the clear workhorse back for the Titans and should see enough volume to make him a decent flex play in most standard leagues. With 110 carries for 408 yards and two TDs on the season, Andrews is not an explosive threat and he is limited in the passing game. But he does have more than twice as many caries as any other Titans' RB.
Andrews was unproductive in Week 12, with just 11 carries for 32 yards. However, most of that game was played in a serious downpour and both teams were intent on stopping the run. This week Andrews goes up against a Jaguars D that he had a productive game against (15 carries for 78 yards and two catches for 16 yards) just two weeks ago.
Since Marcus Mariota came back from injury on November 8th against the Saints, Andrews has had two productive games and two poor games. Struggling against the tough Panthers D, and against the elements last week, Andrews is discounted too much and should be owned in all leagues. As Marcus Mariota continues to grow, he should help lift fellow Titan’s fantasy prospects.
