ANALYSIS: Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson made an immediate impact in his rookie season. Through his first three games, he averaged an eye-catching 24.4 PPR points per game. However, he got bit by the injury bug and missed most of Week 2 and the entirety of Week 3 due to a concussion and was forced to leave his Week 5 game early due to a season-ending shoulder injury.
Due to this, Richardson carries a high injury risk weekly that fantasy managers must consider due to his willingness to take hard hits as a runner.
However, during this limited sample size, the former fourth-overall pick threw for 577 yards and three scores through the air and added 136 yards and four scores on the ground. This is an elite combination that can not only provide him with a safe floor every week but an incredible ceiling.

In the season opener, he will face the Houston Texans in a game that carries a high 49.5 O/U point spread. This line implies that both Richardson and C.J. Stroud could start their 2024 campaign on a very high note.
